A day at the ranch
During my stay in Mechapa, Nicaragua, I had the amazing opportunity to spend some time at a local ranch. Despite the nights in the hammock and 2 a.m. wake-up calls, I had a great experience. Here are some of the photos.

Nicaragua: FSLN 30th Anniversary
The Sandanistas celebrated their 30-year anniversary just a day after I arrived in the country. I was trying to make my way out to Mechapa and had made it as far as Chinandega, where I met Mike from the resort I was going to make as my home base. I woke up to a parade going on in the streets of Chinandega, so I grabbed my camera and snapped some shots.
Children of the dump: Call for donations

Redwood Beach: Nicaragua
A million thanks to my hosts in Nicaragua, Stacy and Mike at the Redwood Beach Resort, with whom I stayed during the time I was working on my documentary projects. Their place is absolutely amazing and should be an instant must-do on the itinerary for anyone going to Nicaragua.
